There is a lot of talk on the Allstate Board of stock splits and rate increases, as the stock price soars higher and higher to all-time highs with every hurricane, at the expense of hurricane victims.
I hope this sickens you as much as it does me. If it does, you can help by contacting media and government representatives and letting them know how you feel. If Allstate is going to make money hand over fist at hurricane victim's expense, then we should be outraged, kicking and screaming.
If every hurricane brings this stock to new highs, then we have a huge problem with who the real victims are.
ALL should flourish in good times and take a hit in bad times like the hurricane victims. What is happening here is at victim expense and the expense of every American. You can write to the officials in your state and federal government, and pass this information on to 3 friends and ask them to pass it on to others.
We are not against stock holders or employees, but are against insurance industry profiteering during these times. You should urge your government representatives not to let insurers raise their already unjustly inflated rates. You can cite Allstate’s rising stock price as your gauge for these inflated rates at a time when disasters should be hurting Allstate, as much as hurricane victims. This better be a wake-up call for all of us.
If Allstate continues to abuse hurricane victims, as we suspect they will as experienced by past hurricanes, you will need this website for a sounding board.
